Research Interests
• Hydrodynamics
• Hyraulic engineering
• Sediment transport
With a background in Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Kingsley is interested and currently working on the plunging of a hyperpycnal/sediment laden plumes in lakes/reservoirs (by means of laboratory experiments). Quantification of the near-field hydro-sedimentary processes and the flow-sediment bathymetry interactions are of key importance in his research as they determine the fate of nutrients, oxygen and contaminants in the reservoirs.
