Hans Roth Umweltpreis 2016 for Ottavia Zoboli

Ottavia Zoboli, alumna of the Doctoral Programme on Water Resource Systems was awarded the Hans Roth Umweltpreis 2016 for the PhD thesis “Novel approaches to enhance regional nutrients management and monitoring applied to the Austrian phosphorus case study”.

The award, sponsored by the Austrian waste management company Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG, was conferred by the Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW).

The jury particularly appreciated that the systemic methodology developed in her work can be applied not only to phosphorus, but also to several other critical resources and that her work constitutes a solid basis for the design of policy strategies.
